Dr Kevin Pineda
PT, DPT, DAC
My adventure into physical therapy started back in high school when I seemed to collect injuries like trophies—ankle sprains, knee troubles, and back pains were my regular companions. Rather than getting frustrated, I got curious about how the body bounces back, which led me to dive into Exercise Science at Montclair State University.
Throughout college, I threw myself into various sports performance/personal training gigs. Helping athletes recover from injuries became my passion project, solidifying my dream of becoming a physical therapist.
Next up was Stockton University, where I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Being a former athlete (basketball, football, track, and baseball), I’ve experienced firsthand the frustrations of sports injuries. This personal journey drives my focus on treating sports and orthopedic injuries, ensuring athletes and active folks bounce back stronger than ever.
But it doesn’t stop there. My mission extends to shaping the future of physical therapy by teaching current and future students. I’m all about sharing what I’ve learned to boost their skills and, ultimately, enhance patient care. I’m currently also an adjunct professor with the Seton Hall DPT Program, as well as a Clinical Instructor for DPT Students. Additionally, I have also been an internship instructor for Undergraduate Exercise Science Students, as well as hosted various workshops at local gyms!
Whether you’re on the road to recovery from an injury, aiming to crush it in sports, or just striving for a healthier lifestyle, trust me in the process. Together, we’ll surpass your goals and celebrate every milestone along the way!
